If you read the old version of this comparison, toss it. Lucid Trading gutted their product lineup in February 2026 and rebuilt it from scratch. LucidBlack is dead. Gone. Every article still referencing it is outdated. LucidPro absorbed its best features, got cheaper, and added 3-day payout cycles. There's a new invite-only tier called LucidMaxx with daily payouts and no caps.
Tradeify and TopOneFutures have stayed more stable. Tradeify still runs their three-tier system (Lightning, Growth, Select) with Tradovate-based execution and 100% profit on the first $15K. TopOneFutures still offers instant funding, no evaluation required, with 100% on the first $20K.
Here's where all three firms stand right now.
How I compare firms: This comparison is built from actual accounts I've run with each firm—not from reading marketing pages or aggregating reviews. I've passed evals, traded funded, requested withdrawals, and dealt with support at both firms.
Lucid Trading has been one of my primary prop firms since mid-2025. For the full breakdown of their evaluation structure, account types, and payout system, check my complete Lucid Trading review. Related: LucidFlex breakdown, payout rules. For the absolute latest, check Lucid Trading's website or their help center.
Quick Verdict
Lucid Trading wins on payout speed (under 15 minutes), evaluation flexibility (1-day pass on Pro), pricing (cheapest one-time fees), and drawdown mechanics (pure EOD trailing with no intraday enforcement).
Tradeify wins on long-term profit split (90/10 through Elite), the 100% profit window ($15K vs Lucid's $10K), and funded payout caps ($3K-$5K per cycle on Select Flex).
TopOneFutures wins on instant access (no evaluation), the biggest 100% window ($20K), and simplicity. Buy an account, start trading funded immediately.
None of these firms is a clear overall winner. The right pick depends on whether you want speed and structure (Lucid), long-term economics and flexibility (Tradeify), or instant access without an eval (TopOneFutures).
3-Way Feature Comparison
| Feature | Lucid Trading | Tradeify | TopOneFutures | Winner |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation Type | 1-step, 1-day pass (Pro); no eval (Direct) | 1-step eval (Select/Growth) or instant (Lightning) | No evaluation. Instant funded. | 🏆 TopOne |

| Daily Loss Limit | None (Flex/Pro). Soft breach on Direct. | None on Select Flex. Exists on Growth/Lightning. | Exists on most accounts | 🏆 Lucid |
| Early Profit Split | 100% first $10K (Pro), then 90/10 | 100% first $15K (Growth/Lightning), then 90/10 | 100% first $20K, then 80/20 | 🏆 TopOne |
| Ongoing Profit Split | 90/10 (sim funded), 80/20 (LucidLive) | 90/10 all phases including Elite | 80/20 after $20K 100% phase | 🏆 Tradeify |

| Platforms | Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Rithmic, Quantower, Sierra Chart, +more | Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Quantower, WealthCharts | Rithmic, NinjaTrader, Quantower | 🏆 Lucid |
| Consistency Rule | None (Flex/Pro). 20% on Direct. | 35% on Growth. None on Select Flex. | Varies by account type | 🏆 Lucid |
| Live Capital Path | LucidLive after 5 payouts (80/20, daily payouts) | Elite after 5 payouts (90/10, real CME capital) | No separate live transition | 🏆 Tradeify |
| Trustpilot | 4.5/5, operating since 2023 | 4.6/5, $125M+ total payouts claimed | 4.5/5, newer firm | 🏆 Tradeify |
The count: Lucid takes 5 categories. Tradeify takes 3. TopOneFutures takes 2. One is genuinely close enough to call a three-way tie (Trustpilot scores are nearly identical across the board). But raw category counts don't tell the full story. Tradeify's wins are in long-term economics. TopOne's wins are in access speed and that massive $20K full-retention window.
What Changed at Lucid in February 2026
If you're reading this after seeing the old version of this comparison, here's what flipped.
LucidBlack is gone. Completely discontinued. Merged into the new LucidPro. Anyone referencing LucidBlack plans or pricing is working with dead information.
LucidPro got an upgrade. 25K for $94.50. 50K for $129.50. 100K for $199.50. 150K for $259. One-day pass with no minimum profitable days. Payout cycles every 3 days. And the headline change: you keep 100% of the first $10,000 you withdraw. After that, 90/10. Five payouts qualifies you for LucidLive.
LucidDirect dropped the 8-day minimum. New 100K account at $799. 20% consistency rule added. The daily loss limit is now a soft breach. Hit it and your balance resets to the prior day's close. You keep the account.
LucidFlex didn't change. Still $75/$175/$295/$345 for 25K/50K/100K/150K. No DLL. No consistency rule. Six payouts to qualify for LucidLive.
LucidMaxx is brand new. Daily payouts. No payout caps. Invite-only. You need a proven track record to get access. I haven't qualified yet.
LucidLive was rebuilt. $0 starting balance with a one-time bonus ($1K-$4.5K based on your eval account size). 80/20 profit split. Daily payouts. Overnight holds now allowed.
That overnight holds piece is new and significant. The old Lucid had no overnight holds anywhere. LucidLive changes that for position traders.
Pricing Comparison
| Account Size | LucidPro | LucidFlex | LucidDirect | Tradeify Select | Tradeify Growth | TopOneFutures |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 25K | $94.50 | $75 | N/A | One-time eval fee | Monthly sub | One-time activation |
| 50K | $129.50 | $175 | Varies | One-time eval fee | Monthly sub | One-time activation |
| 100K | $199.50 | $295 | $799 | One-time eval fee | Monthly sub | One-time activation |
| 150K | $259 | $345 | Varies | One-time eval fee | Monthly sub | One-time activation |
All three firms use different pricing models.
Lucid charges a one-time fee. You pay once, trade the evaluation, pass or fail. No monthly charges. No data fees. No activation fees. If you blow the account, you buy a new one at the same one-time price.
Tradeify splits into two models. Select charges a one-time evaluation fee similar to Lucid. Growth charges monthly until you pass. Lightning gives you instant funding with a monthly subscription. Tradeify Select is the most direct comparison to Lucid's one-time pricing.
TopOneFutures uses a one-time activation fee. No evaluation phase. You pay, you get funded, you start trading. The model is different from both Lucid and Tradeify because there's no sim evaluation to pass first.
Lucid's LucidPro 50K at $129.50 is the cheapest one-time evaluation fee of the three for traders who want to go through an eval. LucidFlex at $175 is also competitive. TopOneFutures can be cheaper per dollar of buying power depending on their current promotions, but the funded rules and splits differ enough that direct price comparison needs context.
One structural note: Tradeify's Growth subscription means you pay monthly until you pass. Three months of evaluation means three payments. Lucid's one-time model protects you from that accumulation. For traders who need time in the eval, one-time pricing saves real money.
Drawdown Mechanics
All three firms use some form of EOD trailing drawdown. The details diverge.
Lucid's drawdown is pure EOD trailing. Your max loss floor adjusts upward based on your highest end-of-day balance. Once the floor reaches your starting balance, it locks permanently. On LucidFlex and LucidPro, there's no daily loss limit stacking on top. One number. Simple.
LucidDirect added a daily loss limit in February 2026. But it's a soft breach. Hit it and your balance resets to the prior day's close. The account survives. No other prop firm I've seen handles DLL breaches that way.
Tradeify's drawdown is also EOD trailing in how the floor calculates. But enforcement happens intraday. If your equity drops below the drawdown floor during a session, the account terminates immediately. The floor recalculates at close, but the kill switch is live during the session. That distinction catches traders off guard during volatile sessions. You get EOD trailing in theory, intraday enforcement in practice.
TopOneFutures uses EOD trailing drawdown as well. Their implementation is broadly similar to Lucid's. Positions are checked at end of day for floor adjustments. TopOne also applies a daily loss limit on most account types, which creates an additional intraday constraint.
The bottom line: Lucid's drawdown on Flex and Pro is the most forgiving. One number, checked at close, no intraday kill switch, no DLL. Tradeify's intraday enforcement tightens the experience despite the same EOD floor calculation. TopOne sits between the two with EOD trailing plus a DLL.
Profit Splits
All three firms offer 100% profit retention on your first withdrawals. The window size and what happens after differ significantly.
Lucid LucidPro: 100% on your first $10,000 withdrawn. After that, 90/10. Transition to LucidLive after 5 payouts drops the split to 80/20.
Lucid LucidFlex: 90/10 from dollar one. No 100% phase. LucidLive transition is 80/20 after 6 payouts.
Tradeify Growth/Lightning: 100% on your first $15,000 total. Then 90/10. Elite Live transition keeps the 90/10 split intact.
Tradeify Select: 90/10 from your first payout. No 100% phase. Elite maintains 90/10.
TopOneFutures: 100% on your first $20,000 withdrawn. After that, 80/20 split.
The early math favors TopOneFutures. Twenty thousand dollars at 100% retention is the largest window in this comparison. That's $5K more than Tradeify and $10K more than Lucid on comparable products.
But long-term? Tradeify wins. Their 90/10 split carries through to the Elite live capital stage. Lucid drops to 80/20 on LucidLive. TopOne runs 80/20 after the 100% window. On every $10,000 in profit after your initial 100% phase, you keep $9,000 at Tradeify vs. $8,000 at Lucid and TopOne. Over a year of consistent trading, that's a $1,000 gap per $10K earned.
The 80/20 LucidLive split is Lucid's weakest point right now. Period. Tradeify, Topstep, and several other firms maintain 90/10 at their live stages. Lucid compensates with faster payout processing and daily payouts on Live, but the split gap is hard to ignore for career prop traders.
TopOneFutures has the best first-payout economics but the weakest ongoing split of the three. The 80/20 after $20K is below where I'd want to be long-term.
Payout Speed and Frequency
This is Lucid's category. Not close.
LucidPro runs 3-day payout cycles. Request a payout and processing averages under 15 minutes. I've had money in my bank account within hours of clicking "request." Across 30+ payout cycles, I've never waited more than 4 hours.
LucidFlex has slightly longer cycles but the same fast processing.
LucidLive and LucidMaxx offer daily payouts.
Tradeify processes payouts 7 days a week through Rise. Typical processing time is 24-48 hours. Some payouts land same-day. Their cycle timing varies by account type, but the overall turnaround is solid and consistent.
TopOneFutures typically processes payouts within 24-72 hours. Payout frequency depends on account type and standing. The speed is reasonable but not in the same tier as Lucid's sub-15-minute processing.
All three firms are well above industry average. Some competitors take 7-14 days. None of these three is in that category.
But if payout speed is what drives your decision, Lucid's processing time is the fastest I've experienced at any prop firm. That's across 50+ firms I've reviewed. Submit, wait 15 minutes, money moves.
Platform Support
Lucid offers the widest range. Tradovate, TradingView (via Tradovate), NinjaTrader, Sierra Chart, MotiveWave, Quantower, Bookmap, and all Rithmic-compatible platforms. If you trade order flow on Sierra Chart or Bookmap, Lucid is your only option in this three-way comparison. TradingView works through the Tradovate connection. Rithmic platforms connect separately.
Tradeify supports Tradovate, TradingView, NinjaTrader, Quantower, and WealthCharts. WealthCharts is unique to Tradeify and includes built-in trade journaling, risk alerts, and copy trading. For traders who want journaling and copy features baked into their platform, that's a differentiator.
TopOneFutures runs on Rithmic with NinjaTrader and Quantower as the primary front-end options. No Tradovate connection, which means no direct TradingView execution. If TradingView is your daily driver for placing trades, TopOneFutures doesn't support that workflow.
The platform overlap for most traders: NinjaTrader and Quantower work at all three. TradingView execution is available at Lucid and Tradeify but not TopOneFutures. Rithmic-based platforms (Sierra Chart, Bookmap) work at Lucid and TopOne but not Tradeify.
For the average futures trader on TradingView, Lucid or Tradeify works. For order flow traders on Sierra Chart, Lucid or TopOne. For WealthCharts users, Tradeify only.
Trust and Track Record
Lucid Trading holds 4.5/5 on Trustpilot. Operating since 2023. Growing fast but still building its community relative to Tradeify and the larger firms. I've personally withdrawn $24,000+ across 30+ cycles. Every payout processed. Zero denials. Support responds same-day. I hold $84,800+ in combined equity across my Lucid accounts right now.
Tradeify holds 4.6/5 on Trustpilot and claims over $125 million in total payouts. US-registered with named, identifiable founders. Large, active Discord community. Their track record by dollar volume is the strongest in this comparison. Multiple traders I follow have confirmed consistent payouts over extended periods.
TopOneFutures holds approximately 4.5/5 on Trustpilot. They're a newer firm with a smaller review footprint compared to Tradeify. Their instant-funding model has attracted traders who want to skip the evaluation phase entirely. Community feedback is generally positive, though the sample size of long-term reviews is still growing.
I can verify Lucid's payout reliability from firsthand experience. Tradeify's public payout track record ($125M+) is the most substantial by raw numbers. TopOneFutures is building trust but lacks the volume of verified payout data that the other two have accumulated.
All three firms are trustworthy based on available evidence. But if trust ranking matters to you: Tradeify has the longest public payout history by dollar volume, Lucid has my personal verification, and TopOneFutures is the youngest of the three.
Where Lucid Trading Wins
Payout processing speed. Under 15 minutes. Money hits my bank the same day I request it. Tradeify takes 24-48 hours. TopOneFutures takes 24-72 hours. For traders who care about cash flow velocity, nothing matches Lucid.
Evaluation speed. LucidPro can be passed in a single day. No minimum profitable days. Hit the profit target while staying above drawdown, and you're funded. Tradeify requires completing a multi-day evaluation on Growth/Select. TopOneFutures skips the eval entirely, which is a different advantage, but for traders who want a traditional eval with maximum speed, Pro is it.
Pure EOD drawdown with no DLL. LucidFlex and LucidPro have one number to track. No daily loss limit layer. No intraday enforcement of the trailing floor. This is the simplest, most forgiving drawdown structure in the comparison.
Pricing. LucidPro 50K at $129.50 is one of the cheapest one-time evaluation fees in the futures prop trading space. LucidFlex 25K at $75 is the cheapest account in this entire comparison. All one-time. No recurring charges.
Platform depth. Nine platforms including Rithmic connectivity. Sierra Chart, Bookmap, and MotiveWave are available here and nowhere else in this three-way comparison (except TopOne for Rithmic).
LucidDirect's soft DLL breach. Hit the daily loss limit on Direct and your balance resets to yesterday's close. Account survives. Nobody else does this.
Where Tradeify Wins
Long-term profit split. 90/10 at Elite Live vs. 80/20 at LucidLive and 80/20 at TopOneFutures (post-$20K). On $50,000 in annual live-stage profit, Tradeify puts $5,000 more in your pocket compared to Lucid or TopOne. Over years, that compounds into serious money.
Real CME capital at Elite. After 5 approved payouts, Tradeify transitions you to real exchange capital through NinjaTrader brokerage. All sim-funded accounts close. You trade real contracts. Lucid's Live stage is an improved sim model with a bonus structure. TopOne doesn't have a separate live capital transition. If trading real capital matters to you, Tradeify is the only one that delivers it.
100% profit window vs Lucid. $15,000 at full retention on Growth/Lightning beats Lucid's $10,000 on Pro by $5K. TopOneFutures beats both at $20K, but Tradeify's post-window split of 90/10 is better than TopOne's 80/20.
Funded payout caps. Select Flex caps at $3,000-$5,000 per 5-day cycle. LucidFlex tops out at $1,500-$4,000. For traders generating consistent profits, Tradeify lets you extract more per cycle.
WealthCharts integration. Built-in journaling, risk alerts, and copy trading. Neither Lucid nor TopOneFutures has an equivalent.
Where TopOneFutures Wins
No evaluation required. Pay the activation fee, receive a funded account, start trading. No profit target to hit first. No minimum days. No sim phase. For traders who hate evaluations or who consistently pass evals but want to skip the friction, TopOne removes that entire step.
Biggest 100% profit window. $20,000 at full retention is the largest in this comparison. That's $5K more than Tradeify and $10K more than Lucid. On your first few payout cycles, TopOneFutures gives you the most favorable terms by a clear margin.
Simplicity. One account type, one set of rules, no complex multi-product lineup to navigate. Lucid has five account types. Tradeify has three. TopOneFutures keeps it straightforward. You know exactly what you're getting before you buy.
Rithmic connectivity. For traders who specifically need Rithmic (NinjaTrader, Quantower) without the complexity of Lucid's multi-product system, TopOne is a clean single-product option.
Recommendation by Trader Type
You're a beginner who wants forgiving rules: LucidFlex. No daily loss limit, no consistency rule, EOD trailing. The most room to breathe while you learn. $75 for a 25K is minimal financial risk.
You want instant funding with zero evaluation: TopOneFutures. Pay once, start trading funded immediately. The $20K at 100% retention is generous for your first stretch.
You're optimizing for long-term career economics: Tradeify. The 90/10 Elite split is the best ongoing deal in this comparison. If you plan to reach live status and trade for years, that 10% split advantage over Lucid and TopOne adds up fast.
You want the fastest path from purchase to payout: Lucid LucidPro. One-day pass, 3-day payout cycles, sub-15-minute processing. From buying the account to money in your bank can happen within a week if you trade well.
You're a scalper who needs pure EOD drawdown: Lucid. Flex and Pro don't track unrealized P&L intraday. Your runners can breathe. At Tradeify, the intraday enforcement on breach creates a tighter experience during volatile sessions.
You need Rithmic platforms (Sierra Chart, Bookmap): Lucid or TopOneFutures. Tradeify is Tradovate-only.
You want TradingView execution: Lucid or Tradeify. TopOneFutures doesn't support TradingView for order execution.
You want the biggest first-payout check: TopOneFutures at $20K full retention. Then Tradeify at $15K. Then Lucid at $10K.
You want the safest trust bet by payout volume: Tradeify. $125M+ in verified payouts is the largest public track record in this comparison.
My Personal Take
I trade Lucid. I've run the numbers on all three firms and I keep coming back to the same conclusion: Lucid's speed and simplicity fit how I trade.
The sub-15-minute payouts are real. I've built my cash flow around LucidPro's 3-day cycles. My trading style involves intraday positions on NQ and ES that swing red before turning green within the session. Lucid's pure EOD drawdown doesn't punish those swings. Tradeify's intraday enforcement would.
Where I'd push back on Lucid: the 80/20 LucidLive split is weak. If I were starting over and planning a decade of prop trading, the 90/10 at Tradeify Elite would weigh heavily. That's real money over time.
TopOneFutures serves a specific need: traders who don't want to deal with evaluations at all. The instant-funded model with $20K at 100% is attractive. But the 80/20 ongoing split and younger track record give me pause for long-term commitment.
I'm not switching away from Lucid. But I wouldn't talk anyone out of Tradeify or TopOneFutures either. Different firms solve different problems. All three pay out. The right pick depends on what you actually optimize for when you sit down at your desk every morning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which firm is cheapest for a 50K evaluation in 2026?
Lucid Trading. The LucidPro 50K costs $129.50 as a one-time fee. LucidFlex 50K is $175. Tradeify Select charges a one-time evaluation fee at a comparable price point, while Growth charges monthly. TopOneFutures skips the evaluation entirely with a one-time activation fee that varies by promotion.
Does Lucid Trading still offer LucidBlack?
No. LucidBlack was discontinued in February 2026. Its features were merged into the upgraded LucidPro product. Existing LucidBlack accounts transitioned to the new Pro terms. Any article or comparison still referencing LucidBlack is outdated.
Can I skip the evaluation at any of these firms?
TopOneFutures offers instant funded accounts with no evaluation phase. Lucid's LucidDirect also skips the traditional sim evaluation. Tradeify Lightning provides instant funding through a monthly subscription model. Each firm handles the "no eval" path differently in terms of pricing and funded rules.
Which firm has the best profit split long-term?
Tradeify. Their Elite Live program maintains a 90/10 profit split with real CME capital. Lucid's LucidLive drops to 80/20. TopOneFutures runs 80/20 after the initial $20K at 100%. On $50K in annual live-stage profit, Tradeify pays $5,000 more than the other two.
How fast are Lucid Trading payouts compared to Tradeify and TopOneFutures?
Lucid processes payouts in under 15 minutes on average, with many hitting bank accounts the same day. Tradeify processes through Rise within 24-48 hours, 7 days a week. TopOneFutures typically takes 24-72 hours. All three are above industry average, but Lucid's speed is in a different category.
Which firm offers the biggest 100% profit window?
TopOneFutures gives you 100% on the first $20,000 withdrawn. Tradeify offers 100% on the first $15,000 (Growth/Lightning accounts). Lucid's LucidPro keeps 100% on the first $10,000. The window size favors TopOneFutures, but what happens after the window (ongoing split) favors Tradeify.
Can I use TradingView at all three firms?
TradingView works for order execution at Lucid (through Tradovate) and Tradeify (through Tradovate). TopOneFutures runs on Rithmic and does not support TradingView for trade execution. You can use TradingView for charting anywhere, but placing orders directly through it requires a Tradovate-connected firm.
What is Tradeify's Elite program?
Tradeify Elite transitions qualifying traders to real CME capital through NinjaTrader brokerage after 5 approved payouts. All sim-funded accounts close. The split stays at 90/10. Contract limits double. Drawdown permanently locks at the starting balance. Daily payouts. It's the strongest live capital offering in this comparison.
Which firm should a complete beginner choose?
LucidFlex for the most forgiving rules (no DLL, no consistency rule, EOD trailing) at the lowest cost ($75 for 25K). TopOneFutures is an alternative if you want to skip the evaluation and start trading funded immediately. Tradeify Select Flex is strong if you prefer slightly higher payout caps during the funded phase.
Has Paul traded with all three firms?
I trade Lucid actively with 2 LucidFlex 50K accounts and 1 LucidPro 50K. I've withdrawn $24,000+ from Lucid across 30+ payout cycles. I have not traded with Tradeify or TopOneFutures. Everything on their side comes from researching their published rules, pricing, community feedback, and payout data. I'm transparent about that distinction throughout.
