Inside the platform

TradeDay platform

TradeDay currently sells Quick Pay Intraday, Quick Pay EOD and Fast Pass EOD in four sizes. I have traded the firm since December 2024 and confirmed three funded 50K accounts. Use the account selector because drawdown, payout eligibility and capital mode change by route and stage.

My verdict

Three current account types across 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K

What is attractive, and what is the trade-off?

  • Three current route families across 50K, 100K and 150K sizes.
  • A broad platform population across CQG and Rithmic.
  • No activation fee is presented in the current lineup.
  • Quick Pay EOD changes to intraday trailing in Funded Sim.
  • Fast Pass payout caps and funded consistency are cohort-specific, so the account-opened date matters.

What I personally tested at TradeDay

I started trading TradeDay in December 2024 and have held three funded 50K accounts. That gives me direct experience with the account workflow and the transition from evaluation into funded trading.

The useful part of the test is not simply that I passed. It is seeing how a rule that looks familiar in evaluation changes the way the funded account needs to be traded. An end-of-day evaluation can tolerate an intraday path that the funded version does not. If the risk plan is copied across without checking the stage, the trader can breach while believing the account still has the same floor behavior.

My current evidence boundary

I do not state a personal payout count or generalize my three funded accounts into a promise about support, reviews or withdrawals. Current price, cap and cohort claims come from TradeDay's official owners and the Data Core, not from an older account.

How I would trade a new account

I would set a personal stop well inside the funded-stage loss limit, test the platform at minimum size and record the account's cohort date. I would also keep a screenshot of the dashboard values after every material stage transition. That makes a support conversation much easier if a displayed rule changes.

When does Quick Pay become intraday?

Quick Pay offers an evaluation choice: Intraday or EOD. Once the trader reaches Quick Pay Funded Sim, the mechanic is always intraday trailing. The EOD selection does not carry into Quick Pay Funded Sim.

Fast Pass is the separate EOD population. Use the current evaluation objectives and funded rules owner together; neither page should be generalized beyond its named route and stage.

What are the current Fast Pass payout caps?

For accounts opened on or after July 26, 2026, the caps are $1,500 on 50K, $1,850 on 100K and $2,250 on 150K. Older cohorts use $2,000, $2,500 and $3,000. Match the account-opened date against the current Fast Pass payout policy.

Which TradeDay platform fits your workflow?

TradeDay supports a large CQG and Rithmic ecosystem. The advantage is not the raw platform count; it is the ability to keep a workflow you already understand. Tradovate and TradingView are convenient for browser-based trading. NinjaTrader suits desktop traders with established templates and order management. The Rithmic group opens specialist tools such as Quantower, ATAS, Bookmap and Sierra Chart.

Choose the data route before the visual interface. Credentials, copier support, market data and order behavior can depend on that connection. If you plan to run several accounts, confirm the permitted copying method and test the exact setup before normal size.

My platform setup checklist

  • Confirm that the intended platform is available for the purchased route.
  • Check session close, forced flatten and daily reset times.
  • Test brackets and flatten controls with one micro contract.
  • Verify whether fees or platform subscriptions sit outside the evaluation price.
  • Save the issued credentials and dashboard rule values.

A long platform list is useful only when the account's risk controls remain visible and predictable inside the selected interface.

Which TradeDay account should you choose?

Choose by the funded stage. The temporary evaluation target matters less than the drawdown you will manage after passing.

Quick Pay Intraday

This route is the clearest fit for a trader who already sizes around an intraday trailing floor. It removes the surprise of a mechanic changing after the evaluation, but it demands discipline around unrealized profit and open-position risk.

Quick Pay EOD

Quick Pay EOD can look more forgiving during evaluation because its floor is evaluated differently. In Funded Sim it becomes intraday. Buy it only if you are willing to trade the funded version from day one, even while passing the evaluation.

Fast Pass EOD

Fast Pass is the route to compare when keeping end-of-day behavior after funding matters more than the Quick Pay cadence. Its payout caps can depend on when the account was opened, so the cohort belongs in the decision.

The practical rule

Simulate the funded loss mechanic on the evaluation account. If the strategy cannot survive that stricter model, a fast pass creates no value. Keep the route, size, stage and cohort together in your notes; separating them is how outdated advice gets applied to the wrong account.

Is TradeDay legitimate?

My TradeDay history includes more than a year of use and three funded 50K accounts. That supports a real operator and account-process verdict. It does not establish a personal payout count, guaranteed withdrawal speed or a universal support result.

TradeDay's main transparency challenge is complexity across route, stage and cohort. A statement can be accurate for Quick Pay Evaluation and wrong for Quick Pay Funded Sim. A payout cap can be accurate for one opening date and wrong for another. The Data Core handles those dimensions explicitly.

Before paying, save the offer, product owner and funded-stage rule page. After passing, compare those documents with the issued dashboard. If the values differ, ask support for a dated answer before placing a trade.

I do not need competitor Trustpilot scores inside this review to make that judgment. They create noise and become stale. The useful evidence is the exact contract, my bounded account history and the current official source for the selected route.

TradeDay vs other futures firms

TradeDay is strongest when platform choice and route-level flexibility matter. It is weaker when a trader wants one simple drawdown model that stays unchanged across every stage.

Topstep is the cleaner comparison for a controlled ecosystem and longer public history. Tradeify is relevant when product variety and multi-account scaling are the priority. Goat Funded Futures is the alternative when several purchase paths and a wide platform stack matter, but its payout calendar introduces a different constraint.

I would choose TradeDay when the exact funded-stage drawdown and platform route fit my existing process. I would choose a competitor if I wanted fewer cohort distinctions, a different payout cadence or a platform that TradeDay does not support.

The comparison should be route against route: Quick Pay EOD Funded Sim is not interchangeable with Fast Pass EOD, and neither should be compared with a rival's evaluation-only headline.
