What I like / could be better

What I like

  • Starter-to-Prime ownership is clearly documented.
  • EOD-trailing drawdown locks at starting balance under the current owner.
  • My approved record includes four payout cycles via Rise.

What could be better

  • Official surfaces conflict on current Starter prices.
  • The payout owner contains a backlog and inconsistent 24/48-hour wording.
  • Current availability through Rise adds a separate service and payout gate.
  • Former DXFeed platforms are no longer available for new purchases.

Is YRM Prop worth considering?

YRM Prop currently has a clear progression: Starter Challenge is the purchasable route, passing it earns Prime, and Instant Prime is closed to new purchases while existing accounts remain supported.

The core fit is a futures trader who understands EOD-trailing drawdown and can distribute results around the consistency and qualifying-day requirements. The one-time Starter fee is attractive, but the current checkout and payout queue matter more than an old price table.

I completed four payout cycles through Rise on the Starter-to-Prime path. That is meaningful first-hand evidence, but it does not prove today's checkout price, an individual payout cap or a current processing time.

My verdict: YRM can fit a controlled futures strategy, but I would recheck the active payout notice before buying. The official processing owner currently contains a backlog and inconsistent 24/48-hour wording.

What I personally tested at YRM Prop

I completed four payout cycles via Rise after using the Starter-to-Prime path. That is the full approved public record. I am not publishing an account count, personal payout amount, fixed cap or speed claim beyond it.

The record verifies that I bought into the path, reached Prime and completed withdrawals. It does not turn a historical result into a promise about the current queue. A payout process can change after a successful cycle.

What the experience taught me

The EOD-trailing floor is easier to manage when the session has a fixed stop and open profit is not treated as permanent buffer. The consistency rule also makes the distribution of profitable days part of the withdrawal plan.

What I would check now

I would save the current Starter checkout, verify the platform route and read the live payout-delay notice before starting. I would use my four completed cycles as evidence of past access to the rail, not as evidence that today's request will follow the same timeline.

Which YRM product can you buy now?

The current production Starter purchase surface lists one-time base prices of $99 (25K), $132 (50K), $232 (100K) and $298 (150K), checked August 27, 2026. Temporary sale values can change; verify the final checkout total. The older Help Center price table is retained as a stale contradicting surface, not used as today’s transaction owner.

What happened to Instant Prime?

The current status owner says Instant Prime was discontinued for new purchases on 13 July 2026. Existing accounts remain supported under their applicable rules.

How do drawdown and consistency work?

The drawdown owner defines an EOD-trailing maximum drawdown that locks at starting balance. The consistency owner states 50% for Starter, 35% for Prime and 20% for grandfathered Instant Prime, with 2, 6 and 8 qualifying days.

What controls payout eligibility?

Payout Eligibility and Payout Caps state a $250 minimum request and $100 buffer, with account-size and purchase-date schedules. This review does not place my four-cycle record beside a fixed personal cap.

How fast are payouts currently processed?

The processing owner names Rise and a normal 48-hour post-approval target, but also carries an active backlog and a later inconsistent 24-hour bullet. PTV publishes no speed promise until the owner is reconciled.

Who can use YRM?

The restricted-country owner lists twenty excluded countries and makes Rise availability an additional service and payout gate.

Which YRM platforms are available for new purchases?

The current owner directs new purchases to NinjaTrader/Tradovate or TradeSea. TradingView can connect through a compatible route for eligible accounts.

The former DXFeed platform set is not available for new purchases. An older account may retain a legacy entitlement, but that does not make the same route purchasable today.

Choose the connection from the workflow you will actually use. Confirm symbol naming, order entry, flatten behavior and any copier setup before normal size. If TradingView is essential, verify the compatible connection for the exact account rather than reading “TradingView” as a standalone platform promise.

How should you trade the Starter-to-Prime path?

Build around the EOD floor

YRM's current drawdown owner defines an end-of-day trailing maximum loss that locks at starting balance. That reduces intraday floor movement, but it does not make late-session giveback free. Know where the next session begins before adding size.

Plan consistency before the target

Starter and Prime use different consistency and qualifying-day requirements. A concentrated winning day can finish the target while delaying the next stage or payout. Track the ratio in a separate sheet rather than guessing from dashboard profit.

Use the funded stage as the real selection test

The challenge is temporary. Prime is where payout eligibility, buffers, caps and the Rise workflow become relevant. Choose account size from the sustainable funded risk budget, not from the fastest-looking evaluation target.

Recheck the queue

The current official owner includes an active backlog and inconsistent processing wording. Save the notice before each request and leave enough operating buffer that a delay does not force another purchase.

Is YRM Prop legitimate?

My four completed Rise payout cycles are positive first-hand evidence that the Starter-to-Prime and withdrawal workflow operated for me. The current official owners also document the product progression, drawdown, consistency and platform changes.

The same evidence shows why the verdict needs a limit. The current payout owner contains a backlog and inconsistent 24/48-hour language. A historical successful withdrawal does not erase a current service warning.

I would keep the checkout, account agreement, dashboard values, Rise status and every support response. YRM is credible enough to consider, but not credible enough to skip the current queue check or risk money that cannot be lost.

YRM Prop vs other futures prop firms

YRM's differentiators are the Starter-to-Prime progression, EOD-trailing floor and Rise payout rail. Compare those mechanics with the exact funded stage at Tradeify, Topstep, Lucid Trading or TakeProfitTrader.

I would choose YRM when EOD drawdown fits better than an intraday trail and the current payout queue is acceptable. I would choose a rival when platform breadth, faster documented cash flow or deeper current Data Core coverage outweighs that structure.

Do not compare a retired Instant Prime offer with a current instant-funded product elsewhere. The valid current YRM purchase comparison starts with Starter Challenge.

Frequently asked questions

Starter Challenge is the current purchase path; passing earns Prime. Instant Prime is retired for new purchases.

What have I personally verified?

Four payout cycles via Rise on the Starter-to-Prime path, without personal amounts or a fixed-cap inference.

Risk note. A prop-firm evaluation fee is a cost, not an investment, and most buyers never reach a payout. Funded accounts are simulated capital, and firms can change rules or shut down. Never pay for an evaluation with money you cannot afford to lose.
